Now that is sweet! Nice way to get on VHF+ for not a lot of money! And to use a higher end IF rig instead of the shack in a box like the FT-991 I use now(it has its quirks and limitations, pretty deaf on 432 is one of them)

The DownEast website has some updated information regarding their long talked about new transverter. See https://www.downeastmicrowave.com/product-p/vuxvert.htm and make sure to click on the PDF link for additional information. Covers 2m through 1296 (5 bands), 28 MHz IF, 1 watt out with a 2 dB NF. They expect their first production run 1Q20, target price of $500 (+/-), and it appears that they are now taking preorders .... see the PDF file for full details.
Maybe roving is getting easier?
