[NLRS] Aurora Last Night & Tonite?

On 2m only CW has worked for me in the past half century. CW works best
on 6m but occasionally 6m SSB is copiable. The aurora reflector is not
fixed in position, its always moving and adding frequency modulation to
the reflected signal. Too much FM on 2m for copying SSB.
It was cloudy here near central Iowa last night. I have looked a bit
before sunset which was about 15 minutes ago and not seen anything.
I'll look again now. I don't have a view of the northern horizon from my
house north facing windows because of a wind break of 35 or 40 foot tall
trees and a Morton building along my north back yard property line.
Havn't seen aurora from here since I bought the place in October 2009
and moved in the next year.
Thunder storms were forecast last night so I unhooked all the antennas
to protect the radios.
