Comments:

Weather forecast was for extreme cold and that's what we got : air temps of -10
to -15 with windchill temps at -20s ..... I had to quit early because the 2 1500
watt electrical heaters could not keep up in the small operating room at the
farm - the bare concrete floor was 'sinking' all the heat ! Even though it was
an incomplete effort , I managed to get best 2 meter grid count out of the last
4+ years of Jan. contests.... I found local activity average with more folks
getting on 2 m ft8 now : 2m meteor scatter was tuff at best and I had to really
work to get QSOs there ... 73 , Ron KA0RYT
