[NLRS] Trying to see if our list will include a picture....

Hello NLRS'ers,

K0WFS tried to share a posting from another list of a "good deal" that some
of you might want to take advantage of.

His posting included a picture. As administrator, it bounced to me initially
saying the file was too big. I went ahead and approved it. Then, a different
filtering mechanism bounced it because the posting included a picture.

 

Our reflector is maintained at QTH.net.  Many hobby groups have migrated
away from yahoo groups and google groups to something called "groups.io".
""groups.io" reflectors permit pictures.

 

I'm pasting his text AND photo into my email. I've gone into the
administrator front-end and tried to remove some restrictions to see if it
will pass a picture.  My memory is that QTH.net reflectors just don't pass
pictures and that if one wants to share an image with the reflector, one has
to put it on the web and include a hotlink in their reflector posting.

 

In general, we've been VERY happy with QTH.net.  Not supporting attachments
is an issue that many of us have gotten used to.
