Sorry, I forget to get back to you all.

Have a portable dual band 2' dish 10G/5Gig - 6W on 5G, works great. The IF on the dish also can feed a 15W portable 3456 box with looper.

Home station for 5G is 2' dish, 15W. 3456 is 15W - 2x blowtorches... still working on getting those band boxes rebuilt and getting them on the air....

Have no idea how many grids I have.... it’s a lot. ARRL website says I have 40 on 3.4 and 40 on 5.7G, I know its more...

Subject: [NLRS] 3456 & 5760 survey update and VUCC

There are 18 stations listed below that have 3456, and 13 stations with 5760, capability. The list includes a blend on home and portable stations. Nearly everyone listed has at least several watts .... these stations are very capable of working 5 grids and VUCC. A few stations are listed as a Work In Progress (WIP) as they have transverters but they need to apply hot solder.
Based on the ARRL's listing of who has VUCC ( http://www.arrl.org/vucc-standings ) the group below has only two 3456 VUCC's (KF0Q & W0GHZ) and two 5760 VUCC's (W0GHZ & W1AW/0).
The probably of losing 3456 outright, and for 5760 to become even more unusable in the coming years, is high. Looking forward into 2020, and for those who are so interested, this would be a good winter to think about putting together a 3456 and/or 5760 station with the goal of a VUCC come this Spring and Summer. 3456 and 5760 VUCC's are rare, may not be attainable in the future, and are not difficult to work given a focused group such as ours.
For those who have home stations and who are looking for VUCC, drop me a note with a plan and I would seriously look into providing you with what you need. Have dish, will travel. For those of us who have portable stations, or WIP stations, the SBMS contest in early May or perhaps the ARRL June contest, may be good target dates to coordinate a "mass" 3456/5760 event. Portable stations could convene at a fixed site to work "rovers" covering 5 grids on one day, then their roles could be reversed on a second day to give all participates a VUCC.
Something to talk about over the Winter months.
PS: For those looking for antennas, HyperLink Technologies has 27 dBi turnkey mesh dishes for both bands. See their web site. Also, Directive Systems has a 5' boom loop yagi for 3456. 73, JonW0ZQ
