I am going to be on, too, but somewhat limited. There is no standard FT8 calling frequency. I was planning on asking some of the MI & OH guys what they think on the ON4KST Chat site.
They tend to 432.174 on 70cm instead of the published 432.500 FT8 calling frequency...so I wonder if they will opt for 222.174 MHz. Right now I have 222.074 programmed into my ICOM 7100, but may end up changing after I hear from them.
The hams in the Pacific Northwest VHF society suggest 222.080. I don’t know if I like that...as .080 might still be used by some as a SSB frequency.
