WI Parks on the Air (WIPOTA) is this coming Saturday, September 15.  I will be operating for the entire event from 11 am until 6 pm from Aztalan state park which is east of Madison.  

I selected this particular park so I could reach many stations in a 50 mile, perhaps even 100 mile, radius on 2 meters.  I should easy reach Madison, Milwaukee & Fond du Lac, and for hams with a very good antenna, I can reach locations like Appleton and Sheboygan.  

Exchanges are easy.  If you are in a qualifying location like me (see WIPOTA.com), then it is simply your call sign and park.  Mine is AZSP.  Otherwise, it is your call and state.

I will continuously monitor 146.55 MHz FM with 150 Watts and a very good antenna.  In addition, I will operate 40m or 75m SSB somewhere near 7.230 MHz and 3.860 MHz.

If possible, I’d like to work you on all three of these bands.  I can work each station once per band...even more if you move from one park to another.
