Hi NLRS'ers,
I'm working with one of our subscribers to see why their posts aren't making
it to the list. Please know that I stand ready to assist if any of you have
issues with the NLRS reflector.

There is a mailman feature that is a remnant from the old days called "not
metoo". When bandwidth was more at a premium, some people did not want to
see their own posts because they knew what they just posted. But seeing
one's own posts is a feedback mechanism that your own post made it to the
list successfully. (You'd have to check the archives or start seeing replies
to your posting to know that it "posted".) There are a very few of you who
have the "not metoo" box checked. If you ever want me to intervene and
change settings just let me know.

There is another feature called "no dupes". If someone replied to you
directly AND to the list, you would get two emails of the same thing. If
this is annoying enough, you (or I can for you) can check the "no dupes" box
and the mailman software suppresses the list posting to you so that you only
get one. A few more of you have this box checked. I don't for myself and
I've gotten used to sometimes getting two of some emails.

Another issue I can help you with is if you like to post from 1, 2, or 3
different addresses but only receive one copy of the list traffic, I can
make sure that all your addresses are subscribed and then we "turn off"
delivery to one or more of the email addys and that way you retain posting
privileges but don't get swamped with multiple copies of list traffic.

You may see some test message over the next day or so while we work on
making sure everything is working ok.
