I was looking at neodymium magnets on ebay and wondered about the letter/number (N35, N50, N52, etc.) that accompanied them. I suspect that the larger the number, the stronger the field. I've got this wild hair about building an magnetometer to try monitoring the earth's magnetic field. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Bud W0LCP
