Hello All
Very sorry to hear about W0AIH. I have thought of the idea of using a pulley and counter balance to scurry up my tower. Not a good idea. I am also almost 80 so this is another warning to me that it's not a good idea when one becomes older and forgetful to not climb towers.
Counter balances on the lever arm of tilt over towers are very dangerous as well. I was taking down such a tower when I removed the top section which allowed the cement counter balance to take over and come down slamming into the tower 18 inches in front of me. !!!!!!
Be careful guys. We aren't 21 anymore.
So very sad!
