This weekend I was up at the cabin to get things set up for the summer. I brought the radio up in case I had some extra time.
It was Sunny all weekend up in EN27. Sunday morning everything was frosty so I decided to check out the bands. Tried some 6M MSK144 but didn’t have much success so I moved on to the HF bands and worked FT8 on 17M, 15M and 12M. I went back to 6M and found it open to CN on FT8. As the band open more ended with 46 QSO’S on 6M.
So far 33 Q’s are confirmed with 14 new grids. I just need 10 more grids confirmed for 6M VUCC from the cabin.
I had to hang it up at lunch time to eat and get some mowing and other chores done.
I hope conditions are this good or better for the June VHF contest.
