Club: Northern Lights Radio Society

I beat my score of last year of about 750 points. So far have confirmed 20 new grids for a total of 115 from the cabin.
5 contacts were MSK144. The rest were FT8. Also made 5 SSB contacts but they turned out to be dupes when I merged the logs.
I kept aiming for K0BBC/R but the only thing I copied several different times was  K0BBC/R 73 usually between -9 and -1.

Only ran into a couple problems. While working MSK144 Sunday morning the crimps on the radio power cables, after the fuses were it goes to double wire, were getting very hot. These were factory made and didn’t have any corrosion.  I cut them out and soldered the wires. After that everything stayed cool.
Later Sunday afternoon I started losing the direction indicator on the rotor control. I would have to look out the window to verify were the beam was pointing. I repaired it a couple years ago buy will probably have to get some new parts.
