I will be operating as WA9TT/R in the 6m & 2m CQ VHF contest from four grid squares on Saturday. I hope to work you in each grid square. Your exchange is simply your call and four-character grid square.
For the first 30 minutes or so, I will call CQ using FT8. The 6m FT8 dial frequency is 50.313 MHz USB. The 2m FT8 dial frequency is 144.174 MHz USB. I will then shift to SSB and call CQ on 50.130 and 144.190 MHz +/- 10 kHz, depending on contest activity.
Here is my schedule:
-1 pm in EN53xx along twisty County T near Chilton
-3 pm in EN63ax at Greendale Dairy near Saint Nazianz
-5 pm in EN64ac in Collins Marsh
-7 pm in EN54wb in Killsnake Marsh
I will operate 100 Watts into a M2 halo on 6 meters and 150 Watts into a Directive Systems Rover Yagi on 2 meters at 22’.
You can follow my APRS trail as WA9TT-7.
73,
Larry WA9TT
