TCFMC Skywarn Training 2018
Twin City FM Club Skywarn Training
Once again the TCFMC sponsors and kicks off the annual Skywarn certification
training. This is the training process that prepares you for the up-coming
tornado and storm season. If you have any interest in meteorology, this
training gives a great comprehensive understanding of storm process and the
nature of weather. This training is a required class every two years to
stay current with your Skywarn certification. You do not have to be a ham
radio operator to attend however proper Skywarn radio operation procedures
will be discussed and emphasized. In addition to radio procedures, the
Skywarn system is now providing additional methods to report weather events
for non-radio operators.
There is no cost for this training and all ages are welcome.
Please use the pre-registration signup process below as the training space
is limited to 60 seats. You will be required to create a SignUpGenius
account to sign up if you do not already have one. If you already have a
SignUpGenius account you can use that one.
