You may need to change your route to Duluth in the morning. North of 
North Branch nearly to Pine City traffic north bound where it was two 
lanes north bound narrowed to one to allow southbound traffic to use one 
lane of the northbound side while they build a new southbound route was 
very slow. For miles peaking at 5 mph between dead stops. Took nearly an 
hour for that segment.

The docent at the Hinckley Fire Museum suggested old 61 or county 23 as 
more scenic and without the traffic hang up. Past Pine city traffic 
moved faster than the speed limit.

A few miles around Faribault were only a hair faster as they are 
building at least three new bridges on the northbound lanes.
