[NLRS] W9FZ/R and KA9VVQ/R plans sadly change

While mounting the repaired 1296 beam on the rack, there was an accident
that has left the roof rack damaged and Bruce and Janice a little bruised.
While the rack is still together, we don't think going to the UP is prudent.
(It's got "floppy rack syndrome".)

 

1296 is working at the moment-which is nice.

 

We will try to proceed to the farm in EN43 today. At worst, we'll be off the
air completely. The next best option will be operating from EN43 on the
hilltop but single grid.  The best we hope for is activating six grids using
the Hillsboro hilltop, the Necedah corner, and the Dodgeville corner.  At
best it would be EN44/EN54/EN43/EN53/EN42/EN52.

 

We sure were looking forward to the fall trip to the UP.  


All the contact info from the earlier email still holds. We'll post on the
W0UC planner spreadsheet by Sat morning what we are doing.
