I tried with KX4R in Alabama but no luck.


Other stations were heard weakly but didn't give me long enough to peak my antenna.

A suggestion for distant stations that don't have a kw, please make transmission long so the QSB cycle of a minute or two peaks and I am able to find and copy you. I also am proficient at CW so give that a try also. CW has a 10 db advantage over SSB!!!!!

Short calls make it very hard to peak my antenna on you. Persistence pays guys.
