Below is the note I sent out 3 weeks ago as a REMINDER
.
If you're going to order, please get your order in to me SOON !
Do NOT send payment at this time: I'll enter the order and then send you a copy for
verification AND money.
I'm still looking to get the order in to Paul about the middle of the month.
I've gotten a few orders already, but others have "indicated" they wanted stuff, but
haven't sent me a list yet. Even so, its a fair size order. Lots of projects planned for
the coming winter, I guess.
Questions, etc., feel free to ask.

****************
A group of us are getting together a bulk order for Paul Wade's PC boards for a number of
his projects. These include his "Simple and Cheap" Transverters, which cover the 900 MHz
to 10GHz bands; his "Small Projects," such as a sequencer, GPS Locking boards for VCO's, a
fan controller, a microwave power detector, and a couple of others. See his web pages
(http://www.w1ghz.org) for write-ups on everything.
Note that these are NOT kits. and some of them are not necessarily beginner's kits. Many
(especially the transverters) use surface-mount parts in addition to thru-hole parts.
(ALSO NOTE that kits are no longer available for any of Paul's projects.)
We are ordering PC boards ONLY at this time. After we know what to buy, we'll put
together some sort of bulk order for parts for the various transverters, but may
not cover all parts for all possible projects.
I have an up-to-date price list, but it's a tad long to include here.
To give you an idea of prices (parts will, of course, be additional):
Transverter bd set (902, 1296, 2304, 3456) is $20.
Splitter for 1296 $3
Mixer for 902/1296 $6
Mixer for 2304/3456 $7
5760 Transverter bd set $11
Mixer for 5760 $15
NOTE: Does NOT include a local oscillator
An LO multiplier PCB is $6; you still need the basic
the LO itself.
10GHz Transverter bd set $15
Mixer for 10GHz $15
NOTE: Does NOT include a local oscillator
An LO multiplier PCB for 2-5GHz input
is $6; LO multiplier for 1.1 GHz input is $8;
you still need the basic LO itself.
Small project PCB prices run $4-$5.
Take a look at Paul's web pages and see if you're interested. If so, let me know in the
next few days, say by the weekend of the 28/29th, and I'll send you the price list. We'll
get the order together by the 15th of November, so don't delay too long.
