Soapbox:  Fun weekend playing some VHF+ radio.  Best Q was a 260km 10 GHz rain scatter Q with K0AWU while shooting out of my garage door and aiming above the maple trees.  Later on W0GHZ was strong on both 5.7 and 10 GHz using the same trick.  Thanks to AC0RA/R and K0MHC/R for some nice mults on the higher bands.  Heard and worked KC0P/N0HZO/R a few times but I think I was zigging when they were zagging.  I do have some repair work to do; the rotator indicator is still out and my 432 appears to have gone deaf, not sure if its the antenna/feedline or the rig.  Just repaired the 2m rig on Friday night before the contest due to a blown front end, so I suspect the 432 may be suffering the same fate due to a recent near lightening event.
