Several of us are flying-under-the-radar to Radar Hill for the first weekend
of the contest. This is *NOT* a typical turn-key operation like you may be
used to at Buck Hill.

Our plan is one of a minimum-footprint presence for the weekend.

*	Our first preference is to operate from the somewhat higher service
road leading up to the two water tanks that are immediately adjacent to the
western side of the casino parking lot. This would be a "carry-in" site as
there isn't room for many cars on the road. On Google-Earth it looks like <
100', level walk. Some of us can help carry-in equipment. Technically, this
operating site is not on the casino parking lot but, they do allow for RVs,
etc. on this side of their parking lot so, we should be able to park our
cars there.

*	Our second preference would be to actually setup and operate from
the casino parking lot. This is somewhat lower but, still useful site
particularly if the water tank service road is not in good condition.

Jim, K0KFC and I will be arriving early Friday afternoon to look around.
Again, you're on your own with regard to reservations, etc.

Nothing is guaranteed as neither of us have been there recently (although
Arliss scouted the site earlier this week). We do plan to have a small
gasoline, AC generator for use with your battery charger but, that's all
that will be provided.

At present, we're aware of 5 - 6 operators who may operate from "radar hill"
during some or all of the weekend. Weather and travel plans may affect their
participation. I've heard that there is a Yeasu prize for coming up with
triple wild cards on their slot machines. Your luck may vary.

The action will be somewhat low-key as none of us are hard core contesters.
Hopefully, we'll be able to try a few long distance QSOs during the
early/late hours of the day. Perhaps 4-5 states from this location? We're
located close to a 4-corner grid square so, maybe we'll take turns running
the route through them to increase the VUCC count. And yes, we should be
positioned to work the dual rover packs from most of their sites as they
progress east to west in NE. Our mode priorities will be SSB, CW and lastly
digital (for those equipped).

So, point at us at grid square locator: EN03sb29. It's 125 miles driving
distance WSW of Sioux Falls, SD.
