Larry WA9TT also has some ideas for the exchange. The main problem is
13 characters max per TX sequence. The best answer is to throw away
the grid square and use those 6 characters for the FD exchange. The
problem will be stations with 2x3 calls, and those clubs running 11A
in states like SFL. That leaves no extra space for characters between
11A SFL. But we have 11 months to figure it out.... Maybe only 9
months if you want the result listed somewhere in QST.
