It seems the more things change the more they stay the same....

I appear to be having issues with the 2M preamp, which is up on the 
tower..... so I am running my FT-736 barefoot.  222 appears to have gone 
deaf.  I spent time up on the tower yesterday afternoon and verified the 
preamp is OK; switching seems to be OK, so don't know if I have a bad RX 
cable or what.  My 2M IF unit that sits between the Flex-1500 and the 
microwave transverters just does not seem to hear very well and I can't 
seem to figure it out.  It works - just not very well.  I have spent a 
lot of time on this stuff over the past few months and seem to be making 
very little progress......

Therefore I am going to be in and out for the rest of the contest 
(probably more out than in).  It just is very frustrating when you can't 
hear well on 2M, since that's the go to band when conditions are not 
up.  Sitting at a whopping 27 Q's so far.
