I received word today from Nancy, the wife of Dave Calvert 
(KB0PE), that Dave passed away yesterday from cancer.

Although not a resident of this area, I think many in this part 
of the country knew him when he was active on VHF from St. Louis. 
Dave was also a regular attendee of the Central States VHF 
conferences, including the recent conference in Albuquerque.

Rest in peace, Dave.
