Also, the web uploader form will not accept your log if it only has 4
character Grid Locators. I have also observed that the web uploader form
doesn't seem to care if you have CATEGORY-xxx: lines or LOCATION: since it
ASKS the questions in the part above the text box where you can paste your
log file in and generates what will be needed for the log checking to work.
I submitted my log with ONLY START-OF-LOG:, CONTEST: ARRL-222, NAME: and a
couple of ADDRESS: lines. I *could* have added CLUB:, CLAIMED-SCORE: and
SOAPBOX: but I didn't. If you were Multi-op, the web uploader form *may
require* that you include an OPERATORS: line.
I'm not an N1MM user but there is *supposed* to be a "User Defined Contest"
for N1MM (and +) for the ARRL-222 contest that will allow for export of
QSO: lines with the 6 character Grid Locators, will calculate your score
(path distance in km times band factor, then summed up over all of your
QSOs...no OTHER multipliers). I don't know if you can apply that AFTER
entering QSOs, though. I *hope* it CAN do that so you, Bill, won't have to
re-enter everything.
I hope this helps Bill. And bummer that Jerry got 'skunked'.
