Local activity around here seems to be zero. I've been looking north and
looking east and calling CQ since 1 PM and the only signal I've heard
came from my laptop. In June 432 signals were a lot weaker than 2m
signals though I'm only running a 5 element yagi on 2m and a 22 element
K1FO on 432. I think I have a splitter or coax cable problem. Need to
rework it to get rid of all the RG-6 and get a shorter length of LMR400
into service. Not a good day to work on it with rain in the forecast.
I'll probably be roving on my way to the Cedar Rapids hamfest leaving
home about 6 AM in the morning. Last couple years I've done better
roving before and after the hamfest than from home.
73, Jerry, K0CQ calling CQ on 432.100
