I defer to those who know more, but if you are using a power divider I think that all you need is two equal lengths, they don't have to be some integer of a 1/4 wavelength because your using a power divider. Best to cut the two lengths from the same spool so that the dielectric constant is constant. At 2m, a wavelength is about 80 inches, so my thought is that if the phasing lines are within about a 1/10 of wavelength of each other or better, its probably good enough. That would be about 8", or with a dielectric constant of 0.66, about 5". I'm thinking that if your two phasing lines are cut from the same spool and are within a few inches of each other that you should be good. That is an advantage of using a power divider.
For those with more knowledge, corrections welcomed !

Subject: [NLRS] Phasing cables for 2m
Good afternoon!
VHF/UHF Newbie question (After 39 yrs as ham..HI)
As noted in previous emails to group, Im putting up 2 - 2M12 yagis on AZ/EL mount for EME.
I have power divider but need phasing lines..I looked at M2 web site and they wanted over $250!
What is the secret to making these myself? How "special" are they really. Wont 2 equal lengths of low loss feedline work?
Please help me understand...
KK
