Subject: FS: NOS K&L 70 cm BPF's
Hi Steve. I was wondering if you could pse post this to the group as there may be some 70 cm ops who can put these to use. Info is as follows:
About a year ago I acquired a dozen of these filters from a defense contractor closing a facility. All of the filters sold out very, very quickly and there were many ops who wish we had more to sell. I kept two for myself but have now decided to sell them.
These are new, never used and made by K&L and use N-connectors. They have very steep skirts as seen in the frequency plot I generated. Stop-band attenuation reaches 80 dB. DCI used to make a similar filter for ham use (for the low end of 70 cm but are no longer available) and not as sharp as these for over $475. These have adjustment screws on the bottom but I suggest you leave them alone unless you have the proper equipment to adjust them. They weigh almost 7 pounds each and are built like an Abrams tank. Asking $220 plus shipping. I prefer Paypal but will accept a USPS money order. I may be contacted at w8bya at mchsi.com<mailto:w8bya at mchsi.com> and can ship inside or outside of the USA. Thank you !
