I will be on as much as I can, need to pick tomatoes and beans when they
ripen and get them in the freezer. ABD with 1000 watts to 5 elements on 6m,
750 watts to 4 x 2m12 with az/el for eme on 2m, and only 50 watts to a 432
9wl on 70cm. Working on 222 but won't have it up by the contest.

Oh and a helpful hint to stations calling CQ. PLEASE include your grid so I
know where to point! On 2 meters if I am 10 degrees off you are nulled to
the noise floor! Rovers say which grid corner you are in! if you are in say
EN42 and in the NW corner I point quite a bit different than if you are in
the SW corner!

There has been a surprising amount of chatter on the Badger Contesters
reflector today about the contest this weekend. The spreadsheet is still
looking pretty sparse - there is lots of room for your plans!
Anyone planning to rove? You can post your plans at:

http://tinyurl.com/SeptVHF2016

If you can only be on a short time, it is especially valuable to make use of
our real-time spotting page at:

http://www.w0uc.com/spots.html

Rather than just listening a bit and not hearing anything, try announcing
your presence on the spotting page and see if that helps. It is also
designed to be easy to spot via text from your cell phone. It is a good
tool, please give it a try.
