We had a bang up night last night.

The big news was that W4ZRZ fromEN63 in N. Alabama checked in on CW with a 559 report. Armchair CW copy. He has 8 x 9wl yagis and big power. He should be workable all the time.

So with a well equipped station it's doable. K4XR is near him but had transmitter problems.


We had 22 check ins;


W4ZRZ EM63 591 miles. Try "that" on SSB under normal condx. CW adds 10 db to your long haul capability. Makes 100 w sound like 1000 watts.
