I've seen the larger offset dishes in use and that disappeared from use,
kind of wish I had been around when abandoned. I have one that was used
for DTN satellite data and it tested decently at some CSVHF in the past
ten years. Its 30 inches. Made by Channel Master.
You can make an offset dish from a few petals of remains of a C band
satellite dish, VE4MA is doing EME on a couple bands from Arizona in the
winters with such an arrangement. K2UYH has written up designs for
stressed strut offset dishes for EME in various conference proceedings
and probably his EME newsletter.
There are a few larger dishes on epay, but the sellers believe they will
produce a huge return on investment. Prices are better at:

A couple years ago on a trip to the cities I spotted a scrap metal place
on MN 3 which had a couple conventional satellite dishes. I think it was
north of Farmington, but could have been in Farmington and south of the
intersection with MN149. Lots of their used steel stock was visible from
the highway. I paid only a few bucks for a multiple feed satellite dish
there.
