Especially for those of you who will only be on a limited time this
weekend, when you do get on, first try spotting yourself at our regional
spotting site:

http://www.w0uc.com/spots.html

and, post a frequency AWAY from 144.200. How many people will find
you? I am very curious, and I think you may be surprised. The rovers
who operate away from the "calling" frequencies do very well, and I
think you will also find that you get calls from stations that cannot
hear you through the constant interference on .200. Calling frequencies
are great if you like to hear a bunch of calling, but if you want to
work long distances, you need to try somewhere else. 144200 may sound
quiet if you are out in the boonies, but I guarantee you it is not quiet
where most of your audience is!
