If there is an Es opening to the southwest from the midwest, please listen and work AA5B. We will be on the air for the 2016 CQ WW VHF contest with AA5B and KK6MC ops. We will operate from a high spot at 7660 ft asl in DM64ux. On six we will have 500W to a HyGain 4 element Yagi, and on two, 100W to a Cushcraft 13WB. This should be a fairly quiet site, AA5B is an excellent contest op, I am a good VHF op, so we should have ears to match the power. On 6M we should have a great signal from DM64, a grid that usually only has one or two participants in VHF contests. We will be on both CW and SSB. Both of us are good CW ops, so don’t hesitate to call us on CW. We will try to be on for the whole contest, with the exception of sleeping time Saturday night.

Hope for good Es. See you at CSVHF! - Thanks - Duffey KK6MC
