Buck and Dixie hit the road for the CQWWVHF. K9ILT will be roving in July for the CQ contest. There is no "family rule" for this event, so it will be Pat operating and K0PG driving. We plan to run and gun, trying to hit as many grids as possible in this shorter event.

Our route is still undecided, but I think that we will run 88 degrees of longitude from EN50/60 up to EN64/54.

More, later.

73, K0PG

Subject: [NLRS] CQ VHF contest

Hello NLRS land -

I have added links to the CQWW VHF contest rules and W0UC's regional activity page to the NLRS.org front page. Note that this contest is 6m and 2m only and begins1800 UTC Saturday, July 16 ending 2100 UTC on Sunday, July 17. Rover scoring is the old rover rules and there is a SO QRP operating category. There is also an interesting Hill Topper QRP operating category with a 6 hour maximum operating time. Note that the rules indicate that for this contest that QRP is defined as 10 watts or less.
