It's three weeks until the January VHF SS.  Please enter your plans on

Newington has kindly kept the contest on the off weekend between the NFL 
conference championships and the Super Bowl.  This will also be the 
first January contest under the new spotting rules;  consensus is that 
the changes have been an improvement for the other contests, and we can 
expect that to hold true for this one.

The plunge in temps this weekend makes roving seem a bit less 
attractive, but we can hope for warmer weather by the end of the month.  
And gas prices are the best in a very long time!  Post your plans now, 
however tentative they may be at this point.  An idea of who is going to 
be where helps others plan routes.
