Hi Gents

Well WB2BYP did it again. He is shipping a free W6PO 8877 amp to KC9CLM.

The tube is apparently soft and makes only 500 watts on 144 but all John
wants is shipping. What a guy!

He already gave a 3cx400 amp to N9EM.

If anyone has a used tube 8877 they can spare either free or cheap please
let us know.

KC9CLM is also the kind of guy who will give you the shirt off his back so
let's help him if we can. OK?

He gave all the parts N9EM needed for a HV power supply. He's a tube guy as
well as modern stuff since his

dad an old time ham passed away and Dave got all his dad's treasures

<mailto:storyavenue at hotmail.com>  Latter is wb2byp address.

A note thanking WB2BYP is in order. See his email address below. Hear that
QST editor??

In spite of crummy condx last night we did ok;

Nothing heard from Minneapolis or Kansas.

W0PT & I even tried CW and zippo. No signals detected.

That's it Gents.

Again thanks for helping keep 432 alive.

Also let's help each other with stuff we all have lying around which we all
know we're

never going to use. Give it to another guy before it goes in the dumpster.

I have stuff I have hoarded until it has become so obsolete nobody wants it.

Anybody want a whole trunk of CQ, QST and Radio magazines going back to the
1920s?

"Radio" was like CQ before WW2. Never returned after the war. Nobody seems
interested.

It must weigh 150 pounds so I ain't gonna ship it. Come and take it. It's
the history of ham radio.
