Celebrating our Golden Anniversary and nestled in the rolling hills farm
country of Rochester, MN with one of the largest Amish communities west of
the Mississippi and world renowned for the Mayo Hospital and Clinic system
this awesome venue offers many amenities within a short distance including a
great downtown. There will be ample time to meet and greet your old friends
and to make new ones. The Northern Lights Radio Society is the local host
this year. The conference will feature the traditional activities, Banquet,
Luncheons and hospitality suites, technical programs, noise figure
measurement, antenna range, Rover vehicle show and tell. We have a wide
variety of activities available and will be offering a choice of side trips
designed to entertain the entire family. A VHF 102 introduction geared to
newcomers to weak signal operation on the VHF+ bands will be promoted
locally and designed to encourage younger hams to get involved in DX'ing and
contesting.
