Long distance stations like N2CB in the UP of Michigan are impossible for me to hear unless my array is smack on you but I need to know you are there. You may hear me with my 1500 watts but that doesn't automatically mean I hear you. It takes me 30 seconds once I find you to peak up my antenna so make the call long enough to peak you.
