Sounds like you are using a digital meter. Try switching to an old VOM
maybe. I've had trouble reading voltages in a high RF field before. I
don't remember for sure which way I had to switch, VOM to digital,
digital to VOM, but I distinctly remember having RF rectification in
the meter give me some inflated and incorrect readings. I think I
tried several meters until I got lucky and found one that didn't
respond to the RF. Trying to add a RF bypass cap didn't help because
it was rectified inside the meter. You otherwise might have to add
some shielding to the RF deck and feed through caps and ferrites on
the power cables to reduce the problem. A DIY voltmeter, 1ma meter
movement and a 62K series resistor?
