I cannot speak for the 222 transverter...I got the latest version of the 432 one...works well on RX...had some spurious on TX....spec is 12 V not 13.8....went down to 12 v and it was fine....plan to use it for hub of 432 station in AZ now. Its high dynamic range and uses a FET linear final, and a SAW filter instead of cans .....great response.
Good value for money !
I see some of the units have a lot of filter cans...so suspect they are not state of the art as Zack says

Is this the series of transverters made in Russia? I downloaded the
schematics for them and looked them over some time ago. A couple things
about them - for one, they are not state-of-the-art. If I were designing
transverters for these bands nowadays, I'd do it differently. The other
thing is that the output stage appears to be Class C. Fine for FM and CW
but not so good for SSB.
But I have read reviews by people who seemed satisfied with their
performance.
