[NLRS] Equipment looking for a place to be stored (or used)

This is a followup to my original message.

There was a very quick set of responses ¡ª so quick that I ended up placing
all button of the items I listed on the NLRS reflector before 6 PM on
Thursday.

In fact, some of the transactions required that I leave Thanksgiving
Dinner to work with people who made the trip that afternoon.

I still have the Wavetek 3001 but all the other items have found homes.

The HP8640 went to a fellow who said he just wanted a signal generator and
he thought the HP name was a good thing. I am quite certain he has no idea
of the intrinsic value of the 8640 relative to a different solid state
generator.
In my mind the 8640 really best serves someone who is a
builder/tester/fixer and I really thought that one of the NLRS fellows
would be the first one to declare they were interested. However, the chap
who has it now was the first one to respond and show up.

If someone reading this wanted to see if they could do a ¡®swap¡¯ or some
sort of exchange with him I would be happy to give you his call. Actually,
if someone should do a swap and give him a generator that would meet his
requirements (very modest as far as I can tell) in exchange for the
HP8640, I would not be unhappy.

Thanks to everyone who made inquiries. I am sorry it took so long for me
to respond ¡ª it is one of the characteristics of Chemotherapy that you
lose energy and motivation when you take the chemicals.

Best 73,

Tod Olson, K0TO
