[NLRS] 432.110 Midwest net 8PM CDST-9PM EDST Monday

Hello All

Reminder the 432.110 Midwest net meets tomorrow night at 8PM CDST / 9PM EDST.

Change in proceedure.

After checking a station in I will ask whoever wishes to chat with the station I just checked in to
take him up 5 or 10 khz to chat. Then return to the net frequency. This will speed things up and allow for more check ins
as well as eliminate QRM. The stations out west will not have to wait an hour listening to white noise.
We’ll see how it works. Any further suggestions are welcome.
Some suggested we start the net looking in some other direction other than southeast. No matter where we begin, we need to follow the compass around 360 degrees.   I can’t please everyone. If I start out west it gets to be 10PM out east until I get to the eastern time zone.
I could consider making the net at 7:30 CDST instead of 8PM....... Any thoughts?

N9EM has raised his antenna 10 feet. Next he’ll be adding the 2nd antenna I finished for him with a new power divider I built.
The pair will give him about 20 dbd. These are the result of our antenna building sessions.
Anyone needing antennas should plan to attend our next get together. All I need is cost of materials and elbow grease. Brats are free.
