Hello NLRS land,

Weak signal VHF+ radio conferences are a great way to share, learn, and to get re-energized in this exciting aspect of our hobby. Here are two such conferences to mark on your calendar.

Aurora 2015 is a one day conference that will be held on Saturday, April 25, at the First Lutheran Church, 4000 Linden Street, White Bear Lake, MN. In the morning hours there is an outdoor antenna range along with socializing, show & tell, and casual demonstrations. Attendees are on their own for lunch. The technical programs start at 1300 and typically run until 1700 or 1730. If you have a weak signal VHF topic that is of interest to you, or that you would like to present, please contact our Technical Chairman, Bill Davis, K0AWU. Registration is not as of yet open, but will be announced soon. Full information can be found on the NLRS website at http://www.nlrs.org/home/aurora .

The 2015 Central States VHF Society Conference will be held on July 23 through July 26 at the Denver Marriott Westminster, Westminster (Denver), Colorado. The conference host is the Rocky Mountain Ham Radio club. Conference and hotel registration is now OPEN. This years conference offers a great opportunity to plan family vacations with some ham radio fun at a great venue. Full information is available on the CSVHFS web page at http://www.csvhfs.org/ and then click on the Annual Conference link towards the top. Check it out.
