Hello Gentlemen
The net is continuing to grow. We didn’t get to 20 check ins but close.
Here is the list;
N9LB EN52
AB9QH
N9IYV
KB8GUE EM89
WA9NGO EN61 Welcome back Tom.
KU8Y EN62
KF8MY EN84 Mike doubled his antenna size and upped his power to 400 watts. He’s very Q5 in EN52 100 miles west of Chgo now.
KC9CLM Dave in Elkhorn, Wi
K0AWU EN37 Nice copy Bill.
K0SIX EN35 Always Q5. Great signal Vince.
W0GHZ EN34
KB0HNN EN25 Brad is in far western Minn but is always in there although pretty weak at times but QSB peaks are Q5.
N0TTW Chris in EN32
WB0JQQ EM39 Loud signal every time he checks in.
KG0SJ EN22
W0PT EM28 I heard nothing from W0HL in EM27.
K9MRI EN70 Joe has 4 WA9KRT HB 432 yagis which will enhance his signal from NE Indiana soon. Don KRT builds very fine antennas
and they are spread all over the middle west. I copied his simple split driven element for my DL6WU design yagis. Beats the heck out of the T match and the 4 to 1 balun by a lot. I potted mine in PVC “T” with resin so there is no way the phasing lines can get H2O in them at the driven element end of each phasing line.
KB9YSJ Jeff is dealing with water in his jumper cable again.
N9EM EN53 John is slowly building a killer 432 system from the Madison Wi area. He will double his antenna size to a pair of HB 25 footers. He has one up and the second one is here at my place with the power divider. All HB of course. Last night he worked K0SIX and heard several other signals in the 2-300 mile range.
Good job John.
Well, I count 19 stations. I hope I didn’t miss any.
Thanks to all you guys who have helped put 432 back on the active list from a “go to” band only during contests 4 years ago.
Everyone is improving his station little by little.
My 4 x 32 footers are working well. I just replaced the 4 driven elements with new ones made from 3/8th inch silver plated brass instead of 3/16th inch brass.
The 3/16ths stuff was too fragile.
73 All
