Got some new gear in the rover over the last few month for 902 and 1296 so
I can once again run limited rover for the uhf test. (Last year I used
loaner gear.) On 902 and 1296 I am using a 6 foot loop yagis and about 50w
on each band. For 222 and 432 I'll be using same 8ft rover yagis from
directive systems as well as 100w bricks on each band. 432 uses a seperate
ft857 and the other three bands are run off an ft817. Rover is setup to
operate as soon as I pull off the road. Normally I push up mast but with
this contest being shorter anyway to make up time should help out.

Plan is to start out the contest close to the en33/34/43/44 grid corner.
I'll start out hitting 33 followed by 34 and 44. Then I'll head to the next
grid corner stopping in 43 sometime along the way. I'll end out the evening
close to the en42/43/52/53 grid corner activating 53 then to 52 and
finishing up in 42. After that I'll head down the road to the morning grids
catching a few hours of sleep along the way.

I'll start out in the morning in En51 and operate from en50 and 40 before
heading toward home. Won't have quite as much time in these grids but only
way to fit everything in. I'll end close to the grid corner of
en31/32/41/42. Having already worked from 42 I'll start in en41 and head to
31 and then 32.

I have posted a schedule to w0uc spreadsheet and should stay pretty close
to it. Also plan on posting to w0uc spot page when possible. I will have my
cell phone on and would entertain calls or texts to line up qsos. I did
this with a few people in the June contest and added several qsos that
probably wouldn't have happened. If anyone else prefers another method that
would be fine as well. Anything to take full advantage of the new rules.

Hope to catch you in the contest!
