PSKreporter.info is showing lots of activity on 6M in the SE US
states. The northern line of activity is
Iowa-Illinois-Michigan-Toronto-Vermont and no activity in Wisconsin or
points west. Either our RF black hole is still working or we just
don't have enough people who leave their radios running with digital
software to monitor the bands. :-) California, Arizona, and even
Idaho are getting into the act.....
The 2M APRS map at Mountainlake is showing lots of low-level enhanced
distances on the US map, including concentrations from Duluth to
Missouri, east to New Jersey, north to Montreal. The heaviest
concentration is from New York to Missouri. Since this is FM, I'd
suggest looking for some good activity on 2M SSB this morning all over
the eastern half of the US.
Note: As a prediction, this would be more useful if I knew what I was
doing. But in reality all I'm doing is reacting to the activity maps
and making a best guess..... Good luck!
