[NLRS] Results from 2015 SBMS 2.3 GHz & Up Contest

Congratulations to the NLRS for 1st place in the recent San Bernardino Microwave Society 2 Gigahertz & Up Contest. The club tallied 32,781 points to just nose out the 50 MHz & up Club with 27,194 points. There were eight clubs with participating scores.
In the individual category, club member W0GHZ took 1st place on the 5.7 GHz band with 1,683 points. Gary just nosed out fellow club member N0KP in 2nd place who score 1,617 points.
Best DX in the contest overall was 474 km (N6VI and W6DXJ) while the best DX within the club was 329 km (W0ZQ, K0AWU, N0KP). Also, just for fun, here is some analysis of band usage, from highest to lowest, based on the 21 logs submitted.
