This year I put in a semi-serious effort and ended up with one of my 
best January scores; the best one in at least 10 years.  For the most 
part all my equipment worked for a change, so it was nice not spending 
half the contest trying to fix stuff.  I ran 2m, 222 & 432 using my 
Flex-1500 as the I.F.  I am really starting to like that little unit.  
It is really nice being able to SEE signals!

While I didn't work anything exceptional, I did run across two new weak 
signal ops here in the Chippewa Valley: Alex, AC9DX and Mike KC9TNK.  
The other highlight was managing to work Bruce & Janics in all 8 grids 
they put on.

The one downside is I think I may have fried my 3456 amp (again!).

Looking forward to the Spring Sprints.
