Hello Gentlemen
Well we had a banner night last night. We had something around 20+ check-ins but I was unable to pick them all up
myself. We missed K0SIX, KB0HNN, W0HL, WB8AUK,KF8MYand many others.
Thanks for help from KU8Y, N0IRS, WA9HIR, N9IYV and AB9QH for hunting down the ones I couldn’t hear.
Here is the list I wrote down;
KU8Y->N0IRS Long one
KG0SJ->KU8Y 402 miles
KB8GUE
KC9CLM
N0IRS
N9IYV
WA9HIR
AB9QH
KC9KCR worked everyone
W8PU
KB9RDS
K9LQZ wkd Chgo gang & KU8Y
KA9VDU EN53
N9EM EN53
W8SOL
WB0YWW->KU8Y 407 miles.
There were others in there we failed to find. Please use the ON4KST chat site 144/432 Region 2 to keep us alert.
Some of the smaller stations need to let us know you are on or we can’t find you. Remember we all have very sharp antennas
and some of us will appear loud due to high power. If you are running 100 watts take into account that a 1500 watt station is going
to be 11-12 db louder than you are being heard by the 1500 watt station.
Thanks to all of you who have been patient over the many months.
Go get some new check-ins for next week.
We are working on a system of calling in 5 or 10 minute periods in each direction starting with SE, E, NE, N, NW, W, SW & South.
N0IRS and I discussed that today. Please give me some input on the subject and we’ll try to incorporate it in the net next week.
With this many stations we need to get better organized. If I start going back to someone I missed to the east when I am
already working a station out west it turns into chaos.
Help me with suggestions please.
