I am in the process of consolidating my equipment and so have a few things
for sale that might be of interest.
First is a Yaesu FT-290R 2 meter all-mode transceiver along with an
older-model (Hammond box) Downeast Microwave 900 MHz transverter. The
transverter is set up for RF sense switching, so all that's needed to
interface to the IF rig is a single BNC cable (included). This is a
plug-and-play way to get on 900 MHz in a hurry -- just provide power to rig
and transverter, connect an antenna, and go. My son KC9JTL and I used this
rig while roving and it works great. I'm selling because I'm just about to
finish my own W1GHZ transverter for 900 MHz (ha ha, I've been saying that
for about 5 years now.....) Get a new band in place in time for the ARRL
VHF contest next month. (Can provide pictures later this evening.) Asking
$325 shipped.
I also have a California Microwave amplifier for 3456 MHz. I bought this
from K2TER, who did the mods on it and built the circuits to supply various
supply voltages (see attached picture). Bill sold it to me in working
condition, but I have never done anything more with this amplifier. Asking
$50 shipped. (You can read a little more about this model here:

Cushcraft A148-20T 10-element 2 meter beam, has both vertical and
horizontal elements. Has worked great for me, but I'm upgrading. $85
pick-up in La Crosse or possible delivery in the Twin Cities area.
Cushcraft A148-10S 10-element 144 MHz beam. $75 pick-up in La Crosse or
possible delivery in the Twin Cities area.
