Comments: A mini rover with 10 watts on 222 & 432 using omni antennas and my 5.7 (2w), 10(6w), and 24 GHz (2w) dishes. Was sort of poking along on Sunday morning getting ready to rove when I looked at the radar and saw the T-storm to our NW. Doh! I wasn't expecting it and it looked like a lost opportunity to work VE4MA and NT0V. Doh! I dropped my coffee cup and headed out, but it was too late. My first stop was the Burnsville Parkway site, EN34is, to work K0AWU in EN37ed on 10 gigs. It was an easy S4 267km tropo Q on the direct path. Then I tortured Bill with a 222 and 432 CW Q; 267 km on 10 watts and omni loops, how fun is that. From there it was off to straddle the EN34jx and EN35ja grid line just north of downtown Mpls. From the EN34jx/EN35ja site you can bounce uW's off of the Mpls downtown buildings to work the greater Twin Cities area. I could have worked some more 10 and 24GHz, but just ran out of time. Final Q of the contest was once again with K0AWU from EN35ja on an obstructed 238 km 10gig direct path with S1 CW signals. Overall a fun day to be playing uW's.
